Stefanie has considerable experience and knowledge of EU-initiated policies, programmes and initiatives. In her current role as Director of Strategy and Projects at CUMEDIAE aisbl. a Brussels based non-profit consultancy, she coordinates projects funded by the European Commission under programmes such as Horizon, Med Culture, INTPA, and Creative Europe. This builds on her previous experience in international relations, policy advocacy and governance.
Stefanie has an Master of Laws in Corporate Governance and Law from the University of Portsmouth, a Masters of Science in Economic Development Policy from the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) UWI, alongside various professional certifications.
Her policy advocacy platform was launched as a Youth Ambassador for the CARIBBEAN Region, and has extended to representation on the boards of the Culture Advisory and Youth Advisory Committees of Jamaica’s National Commission for UNESCO and as an recognized Intercultural leader and mentor within the network of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and is a current member of the African Caribbean Pacific Youth Professional Network. Stefanie also advocates for increased transparency and anticorruption as a Member of the Board of Transparency International Belgium.
