Marianna Stefanitsi

Project Manager

Marianna is involved in the ECHO II project as the program manager and event organiser of Balkans Beyond Borders. She has been active in the cultural sector as a program manager, production coordinator, independent researcher and artist since 2018. She holds a BFA and integrated degree in Fine Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts, and a ΜA degree in Cultural Management from Panteion University. Her thesis concerned the identity of cultural, non-profit institutions and their relationship with the art scene of the city of Athens. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Department of Media, Communication and Culture, Panteion University, researching the Greek visual art production. Marianna is also a founding member of CLOSING SOON, a contemporary art space dedicated to minimum production, and an associate researcher in the Centre of New Media and Feminist Public Practices at the Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly.
