Anca Munteanu

Anca Munteanu is a Romanian actress, an emerging playwright, a feminist, a young educator, and co-founder of the non-ierarchic educational centre for children Flori, fete și băieți. She has a BA in Acting at UNATC Bucharest, a master’s degree in Acting and is currently studying for her second MA in Playwriting at the same university. She is interested in political theatre and theatre as a tool to empower and raise awareness of issues women deal with such as eating disorders, catcalling, or double standards. As a trainer and educator, she likes to use elements of Forum Theatre. Anca has collaborated with Orange Theatre Company Amsterdam for the staging of Dutchman by Amiri Barraka.
