Overview of the Capacity Building Activities

Course Title: International and National Project Management in the Cultural Sector
Course Subtitle: Professional Skills Accelerator: Navigating Projects, Communication, and Career Growth

The course aimed to equip artists and professionals in the cultural and creative sectors (CCS) with new tools and skills to enhance their employability and increase their competitiveness in the market. The five-day Capacity Building Activities (CBA) training focused on production management, career development, and a deeper understanding of both local and international contexts within which artists operate.

The program was structured around five key themes, explored over the course of five days: project-based work and project management, communication, career development, partnerships, and intellectual property rights.

Each day featured both morning and afternoon sessions. The morning sessions were international and conducted online, providing insights into global contexts related to the themes. In contrast, the afternoon sessions were national, held on-site and tailored to address local contexts, as well as the specific interests and needs of the participants.

The sessions combined theoretical knowledge with practical applications, placing strong emphasis on interactive engagement. Participants were encouraged to apply what they learned to real-world scenarios, fostering both understanding and skill development.
