Description

This composition is inspired by the time we encountered cormorants, while we were going to the Snake island. Prespa Lake, including this specific island, is really important for the nesting period for the cormorant birds. Due to their vast number, a lot of the trees there were rotten and barren. While being there, I saw one of them having a feast on a delicious huge fish, while sitting on a branch. It was quite a view, because it was disturbing, but also an irresistible picture that stuck in my head. So, I told myself I had to do this one as one of my drawings. The most specific detail that I managed to see was that there were still eggs coming out of the fish, while it was torn apart by the strong cormorant. Djoshkun Alievski
