Abstract
-
This large-scale painting is hugely inspired by the tile works of Ahmed Niyazi Bey Saray. The unique architectural style and the large, endless spaces of the building encouraged me to create this artwork. Through acrylic painting, I tried to create an imaginary space that is based on the motifs of the Saray. The high-powered rhythm of the tiles provides the main characteristics of the painting. This art piece gives greater insight to the viewer into the fictitious space where the still life is taking place. Panni Marosi
