Abstract
-
This artwork of mine is inspired by the monastery of Slivnica. The orthodox church of the monastery was dedicated to the Holy Mother of God. My painting is highlighting the small details and treasures of the Church. Such as the tiny goldsmith work with the icon of the Holy Mother and the donations from the visitors. The painting is made with oil colors on a small-scaled canvas. The dynamic pattern of the tablecloth is dominating the composition. Traditional Macedonian patterns are also appearing on the red vase, relating to the relationship between religions and traditions. Panni Marosi
