Abstract
-
I was always fascinated by the candles in the churches. Candles that reunite the living with the dead through our wishes. Every candle stands for a soul, and through the movement of the fire, the soul comes to life. Light a candle and take a step back, and you can see all the flames together dancing and whispering. And when they are over, only darkness is left behind… and a strange absence – the absence of the black smoke that candles have created all these years. Yiannis Selimiotis
