Cezar Cazanoi

Born (October 2, 1977, Chisinau, Moldova) in a family with a musical tradition, being the fourth generation of musicians, the father initiating it in the Romanian folklore art. He began his studies at the Chisinau Music Highschool, continuing at the Music Academy in Cluj (Transylvania), in the Flute class. Between 2000 and 2002, he is an instrumentalist at the National Opera in Cluj and a member of various chamber music ensembles. He is also a collaborator of the Transylvania State Philharmonic. Laureate of the first prize at the National Folklore Festival of TVR, awarded to numerous classical music, folk and jazz contests, Cezar recorded several recordings with the Romanian Radio Orchestra, the National Radio Moldova Orchestra, the Transylvania Philharmonic Orchestra and the ” The Witches “in Chisinau. His collaborations include artists such as: Andre Rieu, Gheorghe Zamfir, Vladimir Cosma, Angela Gheorghiu, Leontina Vaduva,, Mahala Rai Banda, Marius Preda, He has inherited from the family the art of singing to the traditional Romanian instruments: nai, fluier, caval, ocarina, speculum, tilinca, supporting numerous performances in Romania and in the world.
