On the 20th and 21st of April, the Animal Welfare Union of Ilioupolis organised an Easter Bazaar 2024. Inter Alia, together with ECHO Academies, participated in the bazaar with a stand to support disabled stray animals.
During July, ECHO Academies hosted the Comics Academy in Athens, Greece. Throughout the academy, three winners were announced, one of them being Evi Magavetsou.
During the Comics Academy, Evi’s passion for art merged with compassion for animals in her visionary pilot project aimed at aiding disabled stray animals. Through her intricate artworks adorning Easter candles, T-shirts and more for the Easter Bazaar of Ilioupolis Welfare Union, Evi brought to life a fusion of creativity and empathy. Each purchase served a great purpose. Every item sold directly contributed to supporting disabled and elderly animals at the Ilioupolis Animal Welfare Union, spreading warmth and hope to those in need.
This initiative embraced the spirit of giving and stood as a great example where the community comes together to support a noble cause. Thanks to ECHO Academies and Evi’s idea, we have the opportunity to remind ourselves of the power of community and the difference we can make when we extend a helping hand to those in need.
