Ioannina served as a notable stop on the ECHO III – For Memory’s Sake Caravan tour, where the theme of arranged marriages was explored through a diverse array of artistic expressions. The event brought together artists and community members for a dynamic program featuring music, theater, and visual arts. Through these performances, the artists shared stories and perspectives related to arranged marriages, facilitating a dialogue that highlighted the cultural significance of this heritage element in the region. The gathering in Ioannina not only celebrated local traditions but also fostered connections between different cultures across the Balkans.
