Nikos is a founding member of Inter Alia. He is also adjunct lecturer of International Studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In the past he has been a visiting research fellow at the University of Peloponnese and a junior researcher for the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS). He holds a PhD from the Department of International, European and Regional Studies of the Panteion University, a MSc in Environmental Sciences (Art and Environment) from the University of the Aegean, a MA in International Conflict Analysis at the University of Kent in Brussels (BSIS), and a degree in Political Science and History from the Panteion University. His research and civic activity focus on conflict analysis and transformation, identities in international politics, and cultural heritage use. Since 2013, within the framework of Inter Alia, he participates in the implementation of educational, civic and creative programs. He is a co-creator of the ECHO series which explores heritage through arts. In 2018-2019, he was the cultural heritage supervisor of the ECHO project and a text-writer of the ECHO creative documentary titled “Dark Vein”. From 2019 to 2022 he was the co-manager of the ECHO II project artistic activities. In 2022-23 he was the heritage supervisor of ECHO III: For Memory’s Sake and co-producer of “For Memory’s Sake” theatre play. In 2023 he was among the directors of the Athens comics academy of ECHO Academies. Together with Veroniki Krikoni he is currently editing the “Through Black Eyes” comic anthology.
